Join us this year as we begin a new chapter in the legacy of the Hopewell Youth Conference. All events will be held on the beautiful campus of Virginia State University in Petersburg/Ettrick, VA. Pre-registration greatly improves our preparation and level of service to you. Please pre-register by June 10th. This year we will utilize PayPal for your convenience on the website. Note: Additional charge is for transaction fee imposed by PayPal. You may also register via mail or fax (804) 458-1210.
Registration is only $70.00 per person which includes meals and lodging on the Virginia State University Campus for two nights. The deadline to register is June 10th, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged by May 31st.

Sr Bible Bowl - Book of Hebrews (Ages 13-20)
Jr Bible Bowl - Books of Hebrews (Ages 8-12)
All questions for Jr. and Sr. will come from the NEW KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible. Teams will consist of five players plus alternates (Complete rules will be posted as we near the date.)

Friday, June 25th
King Dominion Amusement Park
Back by popular demand! Come enjoy Paramount's Kings Dominion on all day Friday June 25th! Tickets are only $32.00 and can be picked up at the Group Sales Window (Mention Hopewell Youth Conference) (Note: tickets are not included in the youth conference regisration, i.e. buy your own tickets)
Saturday, June 26th
On Saturday, June 26th, plan to be in Hopewell! We are changing the location due to renovations at the High School...and the Hopewell Youth Conference will be held on the campus of Virginia State University
Registration begins at 9:00am
Events: Encouraging and edifying speeches * Engaging and informative workshops * Keynote Speaker * Bible Bowl '10 * Gospel Concert* Basketball Tournament, 3 on 3 basketball, outdoor track and field & more
Cost of Registration is only $70.00 which includes meals and lodging on Friday and Saturday
Our Keynote address will be given by: Bro. Jamell K. Hamilton, of the Mountain View Church of Christ, Dallas, TX
Special singing and concert by Bro. Hamilton Landrum of Brooklyn, NY
SPEECHES:
Speeches are to be scripturally based and on the topic chosen. Speeches are to be 5-7 minutes in length and students should be prepared to answer questions on their topics. The Minister, youth leaders, parents, etc. should preview/screen lessons for biblical accuracy/proper theology.
We will again provide an opportunity to display other talents during the speech timeframe. If you have a short 5-min skit, poem, monologue, or even a song, it may be performed at that time as well. Material must be in good taste i.e. no hard-core rapping, dancing, etc., and should conform to the overall general theme.
***Remember: The dress code for HYR is shirt and tie for young men and dresses/skirts for young ladies (especially speakers/presenters). Casual outfits can be worn during the basketball tournament.

Sundays are always special at "the Well", and this weekend will be no different, as we will have powerful preaching, teaching and praising our GOD!
