Sunday, June 28th Sundays are always special at "the Well", and this weekend will be no different, as we will have powerful preaching, teaching and praising our GOD! SPEECHES: Speeches are to be scripturally based and on the topic chosen. Speeches are to be 5-7 minutes in length and students should be prepared to answer questions on their topics. The Minister, youth leaders, parents, etc. should preview/screen lessons for biblical accuracy/proper theology. As an added bonus, and to encourage and equip young men for the ministry, we will have a biblical recitation piece during the speeches. Young men, aspiring for ministry, who wish to participate, are to study, memorize, and recite one of the following chapters: Matthew Chapter I or I Corinthians Chapter 13 or 2 Timothy Chapter 4 The entire chapters! This is not a contest, but special recognition will be given to those participating. We will again provide an opportunity to display other talents during the speech timeframe. If you have a short 5-min skit, poem, monologue, or even a song, it may be performed at that time as well. Material must be in good taste i.e. no hard-core rapping, dancing, etc., and should conform to the overall general theme.
