All questions for Jr. and Sr. will come from the NEW KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible. Teams will consist of five players plus alternates. (Complete rules will be posted as we near the date.)

Events: Encouraging and edifying speeches * Engaging and information workshops * Bible Bowl '08 * Singing * Basketball Tournament
Time: Registration begins at 8:00am
Cost of Registration is only $25 and includes lunch and dinner/snack on Saturday and Lunch on Sunday
Program begins promptly at 9:00am
Where: Hopewell High School (400 Mesa Drive, Hopewell, VA)
Sunday, June 29th
Sundays are always special at "the Well", and this weekend will be no different, as we will have powerful preaching, teaching and praising GOD! We will choose two young men aspiring for ministry to speak during the bible school hour. Counselors/Youth Leaders should contact us immediately if you have a young man who would like to participate.
SPEECHES:
Speeches are to be scripturally based and on the topic chosen. Speeches are to be 5-7 minutes in length and students should be prepared to answer questions on their topics. The Minister, youth leaders, parents, etc. should preview/screen lessons for biblical accuracy/proper theology.
As an added bonus, and to encourage and equip young men for the ministry, we will have a biblical recitation piece during the speeches. Young men, aspiring for ministry, who wish to participate, are to study, memorize, and recite one of the following chapters:
1 Timothy Chapter Four (4)
or
2 Timothy Chapter Three (3)
or
2 Timothy Chapter Four (4)
The entire chapters!
This is not a contest, but special recognition will be given to those participating.
Also this year will be the first year other talents can be displayed/performed during the speech timeframe. If you have a short 5-minute skit, poem, monologue, or even song, it may be performed at that time as well. Material must be in good taste i.e., no rapping, dancing, etc, and should conform to the overall general theme.
